six quirky quirks

1. I hate when things are crooked. I'm not just talking about pictures on the wall, either. I mean, if I have a book sitting on my desk, it must be perpendicular and parallel with the edges of the desk. Daniel will occasionally walk over and pretend to be reading something from my book, just so he can walk away and leave it crooked. I hate that.

2. I am extremely protective of my day planner. It's nothing special--we're not talking leather-bound or anything--it's the generic one they give to all the freshman for free each year. I bought it in the bookstore for three dollars, but it's very important to me. I only write in it with black pen, and anything that's written in it has to be in my handwriting. My doofus husband wrote in it once with green colored pencil. I actually cried. It was such a scar on my beautiful planner. I'm kind of OCD about it, ok?

3. I like washing dishes. But I HATE drying them and putting them away. I'm perfectly content to wash a whole meal's worth of dishes and then leave them sitting in the sink again. As long as they're clean while sitting in the sink I'm fine.

4. I prefer my dry, cracked feet to lotion-y feet any day. I earned those calluses, and I'm proud of 'em. Lotiony feet slide around on my chaco's and that's no fun at all. Besides, my feet aren't that bad.

5. So, I ride my bike about a mile each day to the bus stop in order to catch the express bus down to Provo. And each time I ride my bike, I roll my pant leg up three times. No more. No less. And you better believe those three rolls are perfect.

6. I hate having things in my left-side pockets. This applies to any piece of clothing: pants, jackets, shirts that may have pockets... I would rather carry my phone, wallet, and keys all in my right front pocket than move any of them over to my left. And I can't even explain why.

Haha em this made me laugh. :) I have little quirks like this too...for example. We were playing "Ticket to Ride" (Which is kind of like a Settlers of Qatan game...Monopolyish) and everyone started making fun of me becasue I have to have all my game pieces lined up perfectly. I have to sort them into trains and buildings, and then line them up exactly straight. :) Yay for quirkiness!

you nerd. I love moving your books around, too! I can't believe you cried about your day planner though. Sheesh!

U hate them in your left side pocket because you're right handed and it feels awkward to use your left hand and not just that but if you're carrying something else it's probably going to be in your left hand so your right hand is free to open doors, etc. and if your phone is in in your left pocket and it rings, how the H are you supposed to answer it? You have to reach all the way across your body to get it out! It's ANNOYING that's why you hate it!!
